20 study cubicles at Main Library, are available for use by all SCU Faculty and graduate students (senior students)

2 Group Discussion Rooms at Main Library are available for use by all SCU Faculty and students.


2 Group Discussion Rooms at Downtown Campus are available for use by all SCU Faculty and students.

3.Training Room


We have a training room with a computer for each user that can be used for a variety of purposes.

This may be training in how to use Soochow University’s E-Learning System, the library online system and database or any instruction that may require this type of facility.

The seating capacity is for up to 30 people.

4.Group Viewing Rooms


3  Viewing Room at Main Library. Various sized rooms can seat people for viewing non-print materials.

Rooms G2 and G3 can seat three-to-five people and room G1 seats six-to-ten people.
Room H, a small theater, can seat up to 30 people. It can be booked by faculty for instruction as well.

5.Study Rooms

The Study rooms are open to the faculty, Staff and students of the SCU University. A valid ID is required to enter the room.
